Subaru of America continues record run

Subaru of America, Inc. (SoA) achieved a 38 per cent increase in February sales, producing a record result for the month.
SoA sold 18,098 vehicles versus 13,089 in the same month last year.
Year-to-date (YTD) sales increased 33 per cent, to 33,710.
Outback once again more than doubled its sales from the previous month, with a 159 per cent increase to 6189. YTD, Outback also more than doubled sales with a 138 per cent increase to 11,657. Sales for both the Legacy (known in Australia as Liberty) and Forester broke February records too. Legacy had a 95 per cent increase in February with 2615 sales. YTD Legacy doubled its sales with a 102 per cent increase to 5063.
The record-breaking Forester continued its success with a six per cent increase in February, with 6315 sales.
"Subaru vehicles continue to be recognized by the press and public alike for their reliability, value and safety ratings," said Tim Colbeck, senior vice president of sales for Subaru of America. "Our continued record sales are really a result of focusing on our core strengths, producing durable, safe and fun-to-drive vehicles."
The result included sales of 2804 Imprezas and 175 Tribecas.
